What was five years ago a revolutionary approach to sealing, slitting and sewing has come of age. Customers, once skeptical about ultrasonic bonding as a high tech method of materials processing, have become increasingly accepting of ultrasonic techniques, which have seen various technological advances recently. There's no doubt that ultrasonics have come a long way. While in the past they were used to simply adjust the hand of a material, ultrasonic systems are now capable of actually manufacturing the fabric.
